“Tres pasos al frente” tells the story of a group of friends between the ages of 13 and 18, members of the 1933 graduating class of young cadets at Bolivia’s Military College. This class is historically remembered for its heroic decision to volunteer, despite being practically children, to go to war in the Chaco War.

There, the cadets must face death firsthand, putting their courage and strength to the test out of love for their homeland. They must leave their childhood innocence behind to become the most heroic generation in Bolivia’s history.
